Application Guide

step 01

Disinfect and Exfoliate the brows — with an alcohol swab scrub the brows vigorously to clear out dirt from pores. Scrub hard for effective numbing!

step 02

Apply the first layer of Secondary Numb, completely covering the brows.

step 03

Firmly but gently press down on the brow with your microblade to disrupt the first layer of skin and achieve rapid numbing.

step 04

Apply a second layer of gel to fill in micro holes and wait 3-10 minutes for numbing to begin.

Begin Microblading.

step 06

Throughout the procedure, you may apply the gel to control pain, swelling, or bleeding.

Apply one final layer of Secondary Numb to take the perfect after-procedure photos.

Can this be used as a primary and a secondary?

Secondary numbing Gel is meant to be applied like TAG 45 and ultra duration when the skin is open. However, if you follow our Step by Step How to Apply video process you can use Secondary numbing gel as a primary numbing gel.
How long do you have to apply Secondary Numbing Gel?

On Open skin, and lips absorption is rapid within 1-3 minutes and will last 15-30 minutes. On closed skin as a primary, with prepping of the skin according to our video, Absorption will take place in 3-15 minutes and last 30-45 minutes.
Is it supposed to sting on the application?

Yes, we have designed this numbing gel with powerful antimicrobial properties to ensure no infections for the client. The stinging shows that sterilization is taking place in the open skin area.
Does Secondary Numbing Gel have Epinephrine in it?

Secondary Numbing Gel has a Epinephrine like ingredient in it called phenylephrine. Phenylephrine squeezes blood vessels closed and leaves you with a white halo around the skin.
